Gigabyte B850 Aorus ELITE AMD AM5 motherboards leak
Gigabyte’s Aorus B850 Elite AM5 motherboards have been revealed
Thanks to @momomo-us, images of two new Aorus Elite B850 motherboards from Gigabyte have been leaked onto the web. These new motherboards are due to be revealed at CES 2025, where AMD is expected to launch their B850 motherboard chipset officially.
B850 is AMD’s mainstream 800-series AM5 motherboard chipset. It offers PC builders a more affordable entry point into AMD’s AM5 800-series platform while retaining most of the features of AMD’s more premium X870 chipset.
Both of these Gigabyte Aorus Elite B850 models are identical in most ways. Both feature WIFI 7 support and offer users the same feature set. The only major difference between the two is their colour scheme. The B850 Aorus Elite is Black, while the B850 Aorus Elite ICE is white.

Both of these motherboards have a large removable M.2 heatsink that appears to be large enough to cover three M.2 SSDs. They also feature four DDR5 DIMM slots and a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot.
