Gigabyte Announces AM3 Motherboard Added Support for DDR3
Designed for ultra durable life expectancy, Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P supports AMD Over Driver overclocking. Besides, it supports Phenom II processor with maximum TDP of 140W, and features 4 memory slots which means 16GB DDR3 can be connected. Featuring 3 PCIe X1 and 2 PCI slots, it also supports Crossfire with 2 PCIe X16 slots.
Equipped with 10 SATA connectors, 6 of which offered by SB750 chip to support SATA RAID 0/1/0+1/5/JBOD, and the remaining 4 offered by Gigabyte SATA2 chip to support SATA RAID 0/1/JBOD. The availabity and pricing of this lineup are unknown yet. According to AMDâs plan, the first AM3 processor will emerge this February.
