Have a look at Gigabyte’s B150N Phoenix ITX Motherboard with a rear mounted M.2 slot and support for Intel’s latest Skylake CPUs.

While this motherboard will be using Intel’s lower end B150 chipset, offering no overclocking support but offers pretty much everything that a mini PC builder needs, from M.2 and 4x SATA 3 ports and even built in wireless and USB 3.1. This motherboard is simple and comes with a nice looking orange aesthetic, which could look lovely if fitted with other suitable parts, or a orange themed case.

As you can see this motherboard is very similar to other standard ITX motherboards, supporting only two DIMMs of DDR4 memory and a single PCIe device.

The rear IO is pretty well equipped for a low end motherboard, offering two USB 3.1 ports, one of which is USB type-c, has 4 other USB ports and built in wireless.

Due to the spacial limitations of the ITX form factor this motherboard has an M.2 slot mounted on the rear of the motherboard, which will make your M.2 device pretty hard to remove or replace and pretty hard to keep cool, since it will be placed between the motherboards PCB and the motherboard tray of the case. High speed M.2 SSDs are known to get fairly hot when running at high speeds for extended periods, so this could be an issue for some.
