Â
Gigabyte Release GA-990FX-Gaming AM3+ motherboard with M.2 connectivity and USB 3.1, features which are almost non-existent on AMD motherboards right now.
 Â
Â
This motherboard is a big leap for the AM3+ platform, offering USB 3.1, an M.2 slot and heavily upgraded onboard audio. While the M.2 support is using PCI-e 2.0 lanes, instead of PCI-e 3.0 on Intel’s Skylake Z170 platform, it will still offer a significant speed boost when compared to traditional SATA 3.0 SSDs.Â
Â
- – Supports AMD AM3+/ AM3 Processor
- – Dual Channel DDR3, 4 DIMMs
- – Fast USB 3.1 with USB Type-C – The Worldâs Next Universal Connector
- – PCIe Gen2 x4 M.2 Connectors with up to 20Gb/s Data Transfer (PCIe NVMe & SATA SSD support)
- – 2-Way Graphics Support with Exclusive Ultra Durable Metal Shielding over the PCIe Slots
- – 115dB SNR HD Audio with Built-in Rear Audio Amplifier
- – Killer E2200 series Gaming Networks
- – High Quality Audio Capacitors and Audio Noise Guard with Ambient LED Trace Path Lighting

Â
