Gigabyte unveils Z170 G1.Sniper Skylake Motherboard

Yesterday when we had shown you Gigabyte's upcoming Skylake ready G1.Sniper B7 motherboard and said that it was a shame that it was not using Intel's overclocking ready Z170 chipset. Thankfully now we have had word from Gigabyte, and even some helpful users on our forums, that they will soon be launching a Z170 G1.Sniper Z170 motherboard that should come in at a pricepoint of around £130.

We have always been a fan of Gigabyte's Green G1.Sniper motherboards due to their unique colour scheme and rich feature set, to a point where we were very vocal about our disappointment that there was no G1.Sniper motherboard for Intel's Z97 socket.

Thankfully Gigabyte green is back this generation, which will be music to the ears of anyone who wants to built a Green themed rig.

Well look at the other brands namely ASUS there gaming series boards don't have PCI

IMO PCI should just die in higher end boards i can understand why they still but it into the likes of H170 and so on.Quote
