Right off the bat we can see that Gigabyte's Z170-SOC Force is a premium product, designed from the top to the bottom to be one of the best motherboards out there, particularly for overclocking.

We see 4 PCI Express lanes for up to a Quad GPU setup, 3 M.2 slots (the most we have seen on any motherboard so far), the ability to watercool the motherboards VRMs, two internal USB 3.0 ports and the premium audio components that we are getting used to seeing in these high end motherboards.

We can see from the pictures here that this motherboard is going to be a feature rich offering from Gigabyte, offering a large amount of M.2 slots and SATA Express slots for high speed storage, a large amount of motherboard cooling options for your CPU overclocking needs, and even two external USB 2.0 ports on your motherboard, which is a handy option for those using this on a test bench.

20 lanes from the chipste plus 16 from the CPU
