Intel confirms memory boost for its Arrow Lake-S Refresh processors

Intel boosts its official memory support to DDR5-7200 with its Arrow Lake-S Refresh CPUs

Intel has officially confirmed that its upcoming “Arrow Lake-S Refresh” CPUs will feature enhanced memory support. With its refreshed CPU lineup, Intel will add support for DDR5-7200 speeds to its official specifications.

Compared to Intel’s already available Arrow Lake-S CPUs, its new models will support CUDIMM memory modules with 12.5% higher speeds. This is a move from DDR5-6400 to DDR5-7200. For memory-sensitive workloads, like gaming, this change is significant. Note that these are the memory speeds that Intel officially supports. PC gamers should be able to run these CPUs with faster memory modules through overclocking.

Leaked Arrow Lake-S Refresh Specifications

Based on leaked specifications, Intel’s upcoming “Arrow Lake Refresh” CPUs will launch as Core Ultra 200F PLUS CPUs. These CPUs will feature higher clock speeds than their predecessors, with Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 models also featuring higher E-core counts.

These CPUs are expected to be the last to support Intel’s LGA-1851 socket. Note that Intel’s Panther Lake CPUs will not be released as socketed desktop products.
