Intel Core Ultra 9 285K Box Design Leaks
Have a look at Intel’s next-generation flagship
Thanks to Videocardz, the box design of Intel’s Arrow Lake flagship, the Ultra 9 285K, has leaked. A futuristic design for Intel’s new Core Ultra desktop processors.
With Arrow Lake, Intel will be using new P-core and E-core designs. Additionally, Intel will be moving to a new motherboard platform and CPU socket. As such, this CPU’s futuristic box design makes a lot of sense. After all, everything is new with Arrow Lake.
Intel Ultra 9 285K Specifications
Specifications for Intel’s Arrow Lake Core Ultra 9 285K CPU have already leaked. The CPU will have the same core count as its predecessor, the i9-14900K. However, Intel’s new Ultra 9 processor reportedly lacks Hyperthreading on its P-cores and features lower maximum clock speeds.
Intel will need to deliver significant IPC gains to deliver higher performance levels with their new Core Ultra 9 processor. Based on this CPU’s leaked specifications, it has 3MB of L2 cache per P-core. That’s a 50% increase over Raptor Lake. That means we can expect good things from Arrow Lake in workloads that like large, fast caches.
