Intel updates its APO Application Optimization tech for Core Ultra 200

Intel’s APO optimisation tech now supports 12 new games, and their new Core Ultra CPUs

Intel’s Application Optimisation (APO) technology is a great addition for gamers. For users with supported CPUs, it can dramatically increase the performance of supported games when using modern Intel CPUs. Now, Intel has updated APO with support for their new Core Ultra 200 series CPUs and has added support for 12 new games.

Note that Intel’s Application Optimisation technology is designed for Intel 12th gen, 13th gen, 14th gen, and Core Ultra 200 series CPUs. Specifically, it supports CPU models with 8 P-cores, though CPUs with 6 P-Cores are supported through “Advanced Mode”, which offers users limited game support.

With their latest update to APO, support for Counter-Strike 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Company of Heroes 3, DOTA 2, Fortnite, Naraka: Bladepoint, The Riftbreaker, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Total War Pharoah, Total War Three Kingdoms, and Total War Warhammer 3 has been added. Note that the large number of supported titles are competitive multiplayer games that benefit from higher framerates. Also, note that there are many games with popular CPU benchmarks on this list.
