Intel 9th Generation UK pricing revealed – i9-9900K, i7-9700K and i5-9600K

Earlier today, Intel revealed their 9th Generation of core processors, offering up to eight cores on their existing 300-series platform. On top of that, the company unleashed their new Z390 chipset, bringing with it a new range of motherboards from every major manufacturer, including new offerings from the likes of NZXT, a relative newcomer to the market. 

UK pre-orders have opened for Intel’s 9th Generation processors, revealing high pricing for the entire lineup at UK retailers. Below are prices which are used by Overclockers UK, Scan UK and Ebuyer, three of the UK’s largest components retailers. All of these processors will release on October 19th.

– i7-9700K £499.99 (Scan/OCUK/Ebuyer)
– i5-9600K £349.99/£389.99/349.98 (Scan/OCUK/Ebuyer) 
 
When compared to their last-generation counterparts, Intel’s 9th Generation processors will offer increased single-threaded performance thanks to higher core clock speeds and increased thermal conductivity thanks to the addition of a Solder Thermal Interface Material (STIM), which should allow Intel’s latest processors to run faster and cooler than their last-generation counterparts.
