MSI unveils its range of new X570S motherboards for AMD’s Ryzen processors
Like all X570S series AM4 motherboards, MSI’s new X570S motherboards will not require a chipset cooling fan. Thanks to updated chipset firmware from AMD and larger chipset heatsinks, MSI’s X570S motherboards can be cooled passively, eliminating potential fan noise.Â
With their MEG series X570S motherboards, MSI will offer their users 16+2 phase power designs with 90A power phases across their range. MPG series motherboards will feature a 12+2 phase Duet rail power system with 75A SPS units, and MSI’s MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX and the MAG X570S TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI will feature mirrored 12+2 phase power designs with 60A SPS units.Â
With many of MSI’s new X570S designs, new interconnectivity standards like WiFi 6E will enable faster wireless connectivity using the 6GHz spectrum. All of MSI’s X570S motherboards will feature at least two M.2 slots, with the MEG X570S UNIFY-X MAX offering users six M.2 slots in total. MSI’s MEG X570S motherboards are also due to adopt USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, offering speeds of up to 20Gbps.Â

With AMD launching the latest Ryzen 5000 Series processors, MSI X570S motherboards will also hit the market in the coming days. The new series of MSI X570S motherboards have not only upgraded specifications but also included brand-new designs. The following are detailed introductions that you must not miss. The whole series of MSI X570S motherboards all support AMD’s latest Ryzen 5000 Series processors. To unleash the impressive performance, MSI offers a comprehensive upgrade for the power phase. MEG X570S motherboards have direct 16+2 phases with 90 A SPS and MPG X570S motherboards have at least 12+2 Duet Rail Power System with 75 A SPS. Both the MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX and the MAG X570S TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI have Mirrored Power Arrangement 12+2 phases with 60 A SPS as well.

As for heatsink design, the major change is to remove fans on the chipsets, which helps reduce dust and noise. In order to dissipate heat effectively without fans, the area of the heatsink that covers the chipset is enlarged considerably. Also, all MSI X570S Series motherboards feature at least 1 M.2 Shield Frozr which prevents throttling by offering the best thermal protection to help maintain SSD maximum performance. For hard-core users, we have the MEG X570S ACE MAX with 4 Gen 4 M.2 slots covered with M.2 Shield Frozr and Double Side M.2 Thermal.
In terms of network, all MSI X570S Series motherboards are equipped with onboard 2.5 Gbps connectivity which provides incredible transfer speed. The wireless solution is upgraded to the latest Wi-Fi 6E that supports a 6 GHz spectrum. MSI X570S motherboards have at least 2 M.2 slots, and the MEG X570S UNIFY-X MAX even has 6 M.2 slots. Furthermore, MEG X570S motherboards adopt USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 capable of delivering transfer speed up to 20 Gb/s.

We also launched the special edition MPG X570S CARBON EK X, which is a 6 layered server-grade PCB with 2 oz thickened copper. The monoblock for the CPU and VRM sections is also purposely designed to incorporate carbon fiber elements. The MPG X570S CARBON EK X allows significant performance and uninterrupted gameplay without noise. The newly integrated flow indicator provides instant loop operation and coolant flow overview. The MPG X570S CARBON EK X has a 14+2 Duet Rail Power System with 75 A SPS and 4 Gen 4 M.2 slots with all-covered M.2 Shield Frozr. Equipped with onboard 2.5 Gbps LAN and Wi-Fi 6E, the MPG X570S CARBON EK X owns a front USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C.
