AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D promises Intel-beating gaming performance and solid pricing

New benchmarks for AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor have leaked online, showcasing the processors performance compared to Intel’s more costly i9-13900K.

In the benchmarks below, which were published by Videocardz, AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D can be up to 31% faster than Intel’s i9-13900K. That said, there are some games where AMD loses to Intel, with the Ryzen 9 7800X3D only achieving 91% of the performance of Intel’s i9 in CS:GO.

With Intel’s i9-13900K costing around $589 and AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D costing $449, it is clear that AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor is the value for money leader, at least for gamers. Assuming that AMD’s results are accurate, and that similar trends are seen in 3rd party review, this level of pricing/performance will see AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D become the go-to processor for hardcore gamers.
