Sapphire teases AMD AM5 Nitro+ B850A motherboard

Sapphire’s “Next Big Thing” is its Nitro+ B850A motherboard

It appears that Sapphire is preparing to release a new motherboard for AMD’s AM5 CPU socket. Specifically, Sapphire is teasing their Nitro+ B850A motherboard, a motherboard that’s ready for AMD’s newest AM5 processors.

Sapphire has been in the motherboard market for some time, but their designs have recently been exclusive to the Asian PC market. Now, it looks like Sapphire is bringing its motherboards to the West. Why else would they tease new motherboards on their Western-focused social media accounts?

Sapphire appears to have already launched its Nitro+ B850A motherboard in China. Based on the image below, the motherboard is a full-sized ATX motherboard with four DIMM slots, a substantial VRM heatsink, and heatsinks that appear to cover three M.2 slots.

Given Sapphire’s recent teasers, we expect the company to officially launch its new AM5 motherboards soon. When that happens, we should learn their full specifications and pricing information.
