System Shock PC system requirements
Night Dive Studios has released the PC system requirements for this year's System Shock remake, requiring an Intel quad-core or AMD 8-core CPU and at least an HD 7870 or Nvidia GTX 670 GPU.
The game will require 2GB of storage space and needs a minimum of 8GB of system memory, RAM, and 2GB of VRAM. This game will be DirectX 11 only.
After 20 years, we are remastering and re-imagining the original System Shock. We will keep the new game true to the classic experience, keeping all the things you loved, while updating the user interface and graphics to use a modern day engine (Unity).
On the high-end, this game will require an AMD R9 290 or a Nvidia GTX 970 GPU and 4GB of VRAM, making this game fairly demanding at higher graphical settings.
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
