The Acer Swift 16 AI is the world’s first Intel Panther Lake Laptop
Acer unveils its first Intel Panther Lake Laptop at IFA 2025
At IFA 2025, Acer unveiled its first Intel Panther Lake-powered laptop, the Swift 16 AI. This is the first consumer-grade CPU to utilise Intel’s 18A chipmaking technology, which is expected to enhance Panther Lake’s capabilities, delivering next-gen AI performance, extended battery life, and faster graphics performance.
With new core IP, a faster graphics chip, and a new NPU, Panther Lake is expected to deliver significant performance gains over Intel’s current-generation Lunar Lake CPUs. Sadly, specifications for Intel’s Panther Lake CPUs were not revealed, though a device was shown on stage running Intel’s new CPU silicon.
