Thermal Grizzly supports Intel Nova Lake with its new CPU water block
Thermal Grizzly delivers early LGA1954 support with its new Mycro Pro Stainless Steel water block
With the reveal of its new Mycro Pro Stainless Steel CPU water blocks, Thermal Grizzly has confirmed that its new Intel block design is Nova Lake-ready and supports the LGA1954 socket. This means the Intel variant of this water block is ready for Intel’s next-generation CPUs, as well as current and last-generation LGA1700/1851 processors.
The new Mycro Pro Stainless Steel series of water blocks are cost-optimised, lacking features like RGB illumination and nickel plating to deliver an optimised price-to-performance ratio. These new CPU water blocks are not intended for direct-die cooling and should not be used with liquid metal thermal interface materials. These changes make this new water block easier to produce, allowing Thermal Grizzly to offer lower prices.

Both the Intel and AMD versions of this water block cost $116.88/€99.90. Both feature a high-performance cold plate design with 0.2mm slot and fin widths. The Intel version has 70 microfins, while the AMD variant has 68. Both models use an unplated copper coldplate and a stainless steel housing. Each unit’s mounting frame is made from anodised aluminium.
(This water block also has an AMD AM5 variant)
While custom liquid cooling remains a premium PC pursuit, Thermal Grizzly’s new water blocks make things a little more affordable. These blocks are perfect for users who don’t delid their processors and don’t use liquid metal thermal interface materials. This simple, well-designed water block is intended for unmodified CPUs.
Both of these new CPU water blocks are available now from Thermal Grizzly’s website.
