Watch AMD's Computex 2022 keynote here
AMD's Computex 2022 keynote starts at 7 AM (BST) on May 23rd, and we expect AMD to discuss a lot of their future products at this event. We expect to see AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7000 series, hear about the company's next-generation RDNA 3 GPU architecture, and hear how AMD's latest corporate acquisitions will impact the computing giant moving forward.
When looking at AMD's current hardware roadmap, it is clear that the second half of 2022 will be a busy time for the company. This year we will see AMD release Zen 4 based CPUs in the form of their Ryzen 7000 series and 4th generation EPYC processors. On the Radeon side, we should see the Radeon RX 7000 series. Beyond that, we should also be seeing interesting products from Xilinx, who were acquired by AMD earlier this year.
At Computex, AMD wants to reconfirm that they are now a leading player within the CPU and GPU market, and that they have what it takes to keep their rivals on their toes. While we expect AMD to discuss their next-generation offerings at Computex, we do not expect the company to discuss the pricing of their future products, or release information about specific models or SKUs of their next-generation CPU/GPU offerings. That said, we should expect to learn a lot about AMD's next-generation product offerings at Computex.
