ACER Predator X27U F8 OLED monitor launches with 1440p 540Hz and 720p 720Hz modes
Acer’s pushing the limits of OLED tech with its 720Hz Predator X27U F8 gaming monitor
ACER has just launched its Predator X27U F8 OLED gaming monitor, boasting a refresh rate of up to 720Hz thanks to its use of Dynamic Frequency Resolution (DFR) technology.
This new OLED monitor can operate at up to 540Hz at 1440p and 720Hz at 720p. The screen boasts VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification, 0.01ms response times, and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. This screen supports its maximum resolution and refresh rates over both HDMI and DisplayPort. The screen also supports USB Type-C input with 90W power delivery.
Acer claims that this new screen supports a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The monitor also features VESA 100×100 mount support and comes with a stand that offers tilt, swivel, and pivot functions. This stand also supports 150mm of height adjustment.

Acer’s new 540/720Hz Predator OLED monitor will be available in North America in early 2026 and in Europe in Q2 2026. At launch, this monitor will cost $1,299 in the US and €1,199 in Europe. We have not been provided with a UK price for this monitor.
