AMD expands FSR 4 support to 57 games, and more are coming!
Support for FSR 4 is growing, with 67 supported or upcoming games
AMD Software 25.6.1 has landed, and with it comes support for AMD’s new Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU (review here) and adds FSR 4 support to 14 new games.
As of now, AMD’s FSR 4 AI upscaling technology is supported in 57 games with AMD’s latest GPU drivers. AMD has also confirmed that FSR 4 support in ten more games is “upcoming”. Furthermore, AMD has launched an “FSR 4 Preview Driver” that adds support to even more games.
With AMD Software 25.6.1, AMD has added FSR 4 support to the following games.
- Deadzone: Rogue
- F1 25
- Frostpunk 2
- Legacy: Steel & Sorcery
- Lords of the Fallen
- Planetaries
- QANGA
- Rem Survival
- Runescape: Dragonwilds
- Star Wars Outlaws
- Steel Seed
- Stellar Blade
- Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O
- Wild Assault
FSR 4 delivers great upscaling results, but it lags behind DLSS when it comes to game support. Thankfully, AMD’s recent driver updates have added FSR 4 support to more games. Regardless, FSR 4 is supported in far fewer games than Nvidia’s AI upscaler. As such, AMD still has a lot of catching up to do.
At Computex, AMD unveiled “Redstone.” Redstone is an update for FSR 4 that will transform how Team Radeon does Frame Generation and ray tracing. AMD has a new Machine Learning version of its Frame Generation technology. Furthermore, it has answers to Nvidia’s DLSS Ray Reconstruction and other advanced ray tracing techniques.
In March, Sony confirmed that it plans to create a “reimplementation” of FSR 4 for PlayStation 5 Pro, aiming to deliver similar upscaling results with its custom PS5 Pro AI hardware.
