AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT drops to £629.99 in the UK

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT has dropped to a new pricing low in the UK

Today we have spotted the best Radeon RX 7900 XT that we have ever seen, with Ebuyer selling the GPU for £629.99. Specifically, Ebuyer are selling XFX’s Speedster MERC 310 model, which sports a factory overclock and neat black/silver aesthetics.

With a price tag of £629.99, this Radeon RX 7900 XT costs less than many RX 7900 GRE graphics cards, making this GPU a bargain for many gamers. This pricing level makes this Radeon GPU less expensive than all Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics cards. In fact it is similar in price to many RTX 4070 SUPER GPU models. Not bad for AMD’s penultimate RDNA 3 graphics card

What’s worth noting about XFX’s Speedster MERC version of AMD’s Radeon 7900XT is that it features higher clock speeds. With a game clock speed of 2175 MHz, and a boost clock speed of 2535 MHz, XFX are offering gamers 175 MHz/135 MHz respective clock speeds boosts over AMD’s reference design.

At most PC retailers, this graphics card costs more than £700 in the UK. This makes Ebuyer’s £629.99 price tag a bargain by comparison. Will we see this low pricing at other retailers soon, or is this a one-off deal?

At this pricing level, AMD’s second fastest RDNA 3 graphics card presents a strong value proposition to gamers. It is also a great deal for users who can make use of this GPU’s 20GB frame buffer in other workloads. Good luck getting this much VRAM for this pricing level anywhere else.
