AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled GPU Leaks at Multiple Retailers

It’s official, AMD is launching a liquid-cooled Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. First, the graphics card has appeared on PowerColor’s website, and now the graphics card has appeared at various retailers, including PCSpecialist. 

Right now, we know everything that we need to know about the graphics card, from its dual-slot housing to its 120mm AIO Liquid Cooler design, its exact hardware specifications, and even the graphics card’s power requirements. 

Thanks to Videocardz, we now know that AMD’s liquid-cooled Radeon RX 6900 XT has received a 10% power bump, explaining how AMD has been able to push their RDNA 2 silicon further. AMD’s liquid-cooled Radeon RX 6900 XT features a 30W increase in power draw, giving the GPU a TGP of 330W. 

According to PowerColor’s GPU listing, AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT LC graphics card features a “game clock” of 2250 MHz and 18Gbps GDDR6 memory. These changes indicate that AMD’s RX 6900 XT LC features a game clock speed boost of around 11.7% and a VRAM bandwidth increase of 11.25% compared to the company’s reference air-cooled RX 6900 XT. An 11%+ increase in core/memory performance for a 10% increase in TGP sounds like a good deal to me. 

AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled graphics card has recently appeared at PCSpecialist and Maingrear, two large custom system builders. Dospara, a Japanese system builder, has also released a press release that claims that the retailer only has 100 units that feature AMD’s reference liquid cooler. This suggests that AMD’s RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled graphics card will be available in limited quantities. 

Update – NZXT has confirmed that they are now producing custom systems with AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled GPU.
