AMD’s RX 6700 XT will reportedly launch this month

AMD’s due to reveal their first Navi 22 graphics card, the RDNA 2 Radeon RX 6700 XT, later today at their latest “Where Gaming Begins” event, but leaks from WCCFTECH have revealed that the graphics card will be launching this month with both reference and custom variants.

If these leaks are correct, AMD’s Radeon RX 6700 XT will launch on March 18th, delivering reference and custom models to market on the same day. This will give consumers more choice on launch day and hopefully provide retailers with larger day-1 stocks of AMD’s latest RDNA 2 graphics card.

AMD’s RX 6700 XT will reportedly feature 2560 stream processors, 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM and all of the same DirectX 12 Ultimate features as AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 and 6900 series graphics cards. This will deliver AMD’s RDNA 2 feature set into the mid-range GPU market and provide some more competition for
Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070.

At this time, it is unknown when reviews will land for AMD’s RX 6700 XT, though they will likely arrive on or before March 17th, assuming that these rumours are correct. AMD’s MSRP pricing for their RX 6700 XT remains unknown, though given today’s market, it is hard to see retailers and AIB partners selling AMD’s RX 6700 XT GPUs at their official MSRP prices.
