ASRock launches two new 180Hz Fast-IPS Phantom Gaming monitors for gamers

ASRock expands further into the gaming display market with two new 180Hz Phantom Gaming displays

ASRock has today revealed two new 180Hz gaming displays for their Phantom Gaming monitor lineup. Both of these new screens are 27-inch Full HD Fast-IPS displays, boasting 1ms MPRT response times and support for 94% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

For the most part, these two displays, the PG27FFT1A and PG27FFT1B, are identical. The primary difference between these two screens is their stand, with the A model featuring a more highly adjustable stand out of the box. Both screens support VESA mounts, making them compatible with a wide range of monitor arms and 3rd party stands.

With a 180Hz refresh rate, these new monitors from ASRock are 25% faster than 144Hz gaming displays and 50% faster than 120Hz gaming displays. Both screens are AMD FreeSync compatible, allowing users to benefit from VRR compatible graphics cards.

Input-wise, both screens feature DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0. This monitor features built-in speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack that gamers can utilise.

In all, both of these new screens appear to be strong entry level gaming monitors. 180Hz support makes these monitors great options for those who enjoy competitive online games. Sadly, ASRock has not revealed the pricing of these new monitors yet, though we expect to hear more about them soon.
