ASUS expands its SFF-ready GPU lineup with RTX 4070 Ti SUPER PRIME

ASUS expands its PRIME SSF-Ready GPU lineup with its most powerful GPU yet

At Computex 2024, Nvidia revealed their “SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce” GPU guidelines, which laid out size restrictions for small-form-factor gaming graphics cards. Following these guidelines, ASUS released its first PRIME series GPUs. Models for this lineup range from the RTX 4060 Ti to the RTX 4070 SUPER. Now, ASUS has added a new RTX 4070 Ti SUPER model to its PRIME lineup, making it its fastest small-form-factor (SFF) gaming GPU.

Nvidia’s SSF-Ready GPU guidelines make it easier for PC builders to ensure their small form factor graphics cards and PC cases are compatible. If both GPUs are Nvidia SFF certified, they will work well together. That said, the Nvidia-based nature of this standard makes this standard a little problematic. After all, AMD and Intel GPUs cannot be an “SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce” GPU.

ASUS’ RTX 4070 Ti SUPER PRIME graphics card has 8,448 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR6X memory. The GPU is powered using a 12V-2×6 power connector, and GPU is available in “Overclocked” and standard forms.

Sadly, ASUS has not revealed how much their new PRIME series graphics card will cost. Nether have we been given any firm availability information for this new model. That said, we should expect to see this GPU become available at retailers soon. After all, the RTX 40 series is reaching the end of its lifespan.
