ASUS officially reveals its Radeon RX 9070 GRE ATS Megalodon

ASUS has revealed its first Radeon RX 9070 GRE graphics card, the LTS Megalodon

Following AMD’s reveal of its Radeon RX 9070 GRE, ASUS (via Videocardz) has revealed its custom ATS Megalodon model. This 12GB RDNA 4 GPU sits below AMD’s RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT, and is currently exclusive to the Chinese market.

ASUS’ ATS Megalodon model uses a custom heatsink with a triple-fan cooling solution. This heatsink is unlike any of the RDNA 4 GPUs that ASUS has released into the Western GPU market. As such, the Megalodon is likely to be a China-only design.

Like most Radeon RX 9070 GRE GPUs, this model is powered by two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. It also features 12GB of GDDR6 memory. With its 192-bit memory bus and slower 18Gbps GDDR6 memory, this GPU has much less memory bandwidth than an RX 9070 or RX 9070 XT.

This GPU has been listed as having a 2880 MHz GPU boost clock speed when using ASUS’ GPU Tweak III software. Without it, this GPU’s boost clock speed is 2860 MHz.

This GPU has been listed as having three native DisplayPort 2.1a outputs and a single HDMI 2.1b connector.
