ASUS reveals its ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Dhahab Edition GPU
ROG goes for Gold with their RTX 5090 Astral Dhahab Edition GPU
ASUS has unveiled a new variant of their ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090, a Middle-East-inspired model with Arabic lettering and gold colour scheme. Meet the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 Dhahab OC Edition.
Nvidia’s RTX 5090 is the world’s most expensive consumer GPU, and ASUS’ ROG Astral is already a premium edition of this GPU. With their Dhahab Edition, ASUS has opted for a golden colour scheme with turquoise embellishments. Even this GPU’s heatsink fins are gold! This makes the graphics card look like a block of gold, a fitting appearance given the likely cost of this limited edition GPU.
Below is what ASUS say about this custom GPU on its website;
The ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Dhahab Edition is a celebration of the rapid evolution of the Middle East, featuring a unique skyline silhouette that signifies a transition from the sands to the skies. It also introduces ROG’s first quad-fan design, coupled with a patented vapor chamber, increased heatsink fin density, a phase-change GPU thermal pad, towering default clock speeds, boosted power delivery, and more. These premium innovations â amplified by an eye-catching die-cast frame and metal GPU bracket â combine to deliver absolute performance that can handle even the most demanding gaming scenarios.

Currently, it is unknown how much this GPU will cost or what regions it will be available in. It’s likely that this GPU is intended to be exclusive to Middle-Eastern markets. Regardless, there may be demand for such a GPU elsewhere. After all, this GPU is perfect for anyone who wants an Ancient Egypt-inspired PC.
