ASUS unveils its GeForce RTX 5070 TX graphics card in China

ASUS reveals its China-exclusive RTX 5070 TX graphics card

ASUS China, via Videocardz, has revealed a new RTX 5070 series graphics card called the RTX 5070 TX. This new model features a custom white and teal colour scheme, a unique heatsink design and stylish anime-like boxart.

The GPU itself appears to use the same PCB as ASUS’ RTX 5070 PRIME graphics card, with a custom heatsink that sits somewhere between ASUS’ PRIME and TUF Gaming GPU models. So far, ASUS’ TX series GPUs have been exclusive to China.

With its mostly flat heatsink shroud, this GPU is well suited for modification with custom artwork and other changes. The RTX 5060 Ti version of this GPU already has a “Hatsume Miku” counterpart. In the future, we expect to see a lot of custom GPU designs that use this GPU as a baseline. This GPU could pave the way towards a lot of custom/branded GPU designs. In the past, ASUS has created GPUs based on the Gundam and Evangelion franchises. Expect to see more of this same with ASUS’ RTX 50 series.

We expect to see a lot of this GPU in the future. While this TX model may be China-only, we expect to see an anime-branded GPU using this design in the future. The question we have now is which anime will it be?
