ASUS unveils its Strix OLED XG32U series monitors with TrueBlack Glossy tech

ASUS launches its Strix OLED XG32U series gaming monitors with Dual Mode tech

ASUS has officially revealed two new 32-inch 4K OLED monitors as part of their Strix OLED XG32U lineup. Both screens use TrueBlack Glossy screen technology to reduce reflections while retaining the benefits of “glossy” screens. Furthermore, both screens support Dual Mode technology.

The first of these two screens is the XG32UCWMG, which can operate at 4K 240Hz and 1080p 480Hz. Next, there is the XG32UCWG, which supports 4K at 165Hz and 1080p at 330 Hz. Both screens feature ASUS’ OLED Care Pro anti-burn-in technology. Both of these monitors ship with a 3-year burn-in warranty.

Strong OLED performance in all lighting environments with TrueBlack Glossy WOLED

Thanks to ASUS’ TrueBlack Glossy film, these screens feature a “zero-haze” optical layer that reduces reflections by 38% compared to prior-generation WOLED glossy monitors. This enables deeper looking blacks, and reduces the impact of reflections.

ROG Strix OLED XG32U features

Both of these new ROG Strix OLED monitors feature peak brightness levels of 1,000 nits, and 0.03ms response times. Both also include two HDMI 2.1 connectors and a DisplayPort 1.4 input. This makes these screens ideal for both PC and console gaming. Both also feature an Auto KWM feature, allowing a single mouse/keyboard setup to be used with connected two PCs.
