Bigger, but quieter – Thermal Grizzly unveils its WireView Pro II Noctua Edition

Thermal Grizzly is building a new “Noctua Edition” product

Thermal Grizzly has teamed up with Noctua to create a “Noctua Edition” version of its WireView Pro II. The WireView Pro II is a 12V-2×6 monitoring tool that allows PC gamers to measure their GPUs’ power draw and detect the current distribution of their cables/connectors on a per-pin basis. This can be used to enable useful safety features that can prevent damage to GPUs and PSUs by avoiding “melted connector” incidents. This new “Noctua Edition” product was first shown in a Gamers Nexus video ahead of Computex 2026.

With their new “Noctua Edition” variant, Thermal Grizzly isn’t simply adding Noctua fans and calling it a day. No, this new version has a unique PCB, enlarged design, and a new heatsink/thermal pad that cools the device. The original WireView Pro uses a 30mm fan, while the Noctua Edition will use a larger 40mm fan. This is why significant design changes were necessary for this new version.

A cooler/quieter WireView Pro II

According to der8auer, the new WireView Pro II can run passively more often than its standard version. Even under 600W GPU loads, the new Noctua Edition model can run passively in high-airflow PCs.

Noctua also influenced the design of this new version of WireView Pro II. They helped optimise this product’s fan grill design to get the most out of their fan. While it is currently unclear how much quieter this new version is than its predecessor, the fact that it can run passively for longer is a good sign. If the Noctua Edition needs its fan less often, it’s likely the fan doesn’t need to run fast when it does.

The WireView Pro II Noctua Edition will carry a premium price

The WireView Pro II is already an expensive product at €119. The new Noctua Edition variant will cost €199. For that, users will get a larger, more premium design. This design will run passively more often and will likely run much quieter in scenarios where active cooling is necessary. This is undoubtedly a more premium version of the WireView Pro II, and its pricing reflects this.

Thermal Grizzly expects this new Noctua Edition product to be released in around three months.
