Crytek’s Back to Dinosaur Island Part 2 VR Tech Demo has arrived on Steam free of charge, allowing all owners of the Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2 the ability to try out this tech demo for themselves. 

Those who want to try out this tech demo are required to use an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One controller in order to play, and a Oculus Rift DK2 HMD (Head Mounted display) in order to be played. 

 

      Return to Crytek’s Dinosaur Island and enjoy another glimpse into the developer’s exciting vision for Virtual Reality as you scale a deadly cliff face as huge flying dinosaurs react to your presence (Oculus Rift DK2 required).

Below are the minimum system requirements for this VR tech demo, which are very similar to the system requirements for the retail version of the Oculus Rift.

    • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Sound Card with latest drivers
