Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will have an FOV Slider on PC
Â
FOV sliders is a feature that the majority of PC gamers say is vital for FPS games, allowing players to widen their field of view for a tactical edge or simply to reduce motion sickness.
A lot of games on PC have not implemented this feature, like Fallout 4 and many others have had to implement this feature in post-launch patches like Evolve.
The developers behind Deux Ex: Mankind Divided has stated that they will have an FOV slider in the PC version of the game at launch, showing that the developer has been placing a lot of effort into implementing the features that PC gamers desire most, like an unlocked framerate and us of the DirectX 12 API.Â
Â
Â
Nixxes has already stated that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will run at 30FPS on consoles, with the PC having an unlocked, uncapped framerate. This means that the game will be focusing on high graphical fidelity over framerate, suggesting that the game will be fairly demanding on PC like many 30FPS console titles like Assassin’s Creed Unity and The Witcher 3.Â
One big hope for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on PC is that the game will scale well on a wide range of PC hardware, but we should learn more about the PC versions system requirements on the months or weeks leading to it’s launch on February 23rd.Â
Â
Â
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 23rd 2016 and will support DirectX 12 and TressFX 3.0 on PC.
