Galax sets multiple world records with its dual-16-pin RTX 5090 D HOF XOC GPU

Galax’s dual 12V-2×6 RTX 5090 D HOF GPU has already set multiple new world records

The Galax RTX 5090 D HOF GPU has arrived, and it is already setting new world records. With its dual 12V-2×6 power connectors and the power of liquid nitrogen (LN2) cooling, this GPU may be the fastest RTX 5090 on the planet. Thanks to the efforts of Galax OC Lab and the OGS overclocking team, this GPU has already set multiple world records on HWBOT.

This GPU has already set new world records for 3DMARK Port Royal, Unigine Superposition 8K Optimised, and GPUPI v 3.3. It has also become the top GPU in UL Benchmarks’ 3DMARK Speed Way Hall of Fame with a score of 17169.

Galax’s RTX 5090D HOF is the first GPU to make use of two 16-pin GPU power connectors, allowing it to utilise an insane amount of power. In 3DMARK Port Royal, the GPU ran at 3.3GHz, and in 3DMARK Speed Way, the GPU reportedly ran at 3.277GHz.

These crazy-fast GPU speeds are impossible without LN2 cooling. These scores were also achieved with a 6GHz Intel i9-14900KF CPU, which cooled using a custom liquid cooling setup. Other system components include G.Skill memory, ASUS’ Z790 Apex Encore motherboard, and a Corsair HXi 1500W power supply.

With this many records under its belt, the Galax RTX 5090 HOF is undoubtedly an overclocking monster. While these performance levels are not achievable under standard use cases, it is exciting to see how modern PC hardware performs when pushed to the limit. Now, the question is, can anyone build a faster RTX 5090?
