I’m in love with MSI’s EXPERT GPUs

MSI showcases their RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT graphics card at CES 2024

When we were at MSI’s booth at CES 2024, one GPU caught our eye more than any other. This graphics card was the MSI RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT, an all-new design from the company that features a gorgeous cooler design.

The EXPERT features an all-new heatsink design from MSI, utilising push-pull airflow, vapour chamber cooling, and precision machined heatpipes. With its aluminium die-cast construction, this design has a lot of similarities to Nvidia’s RTX 40 Founders Edition GPU models. That said, MSI’s design is distinct, and has some unique elements.

MSI’s EXPERT graphics card features a patented fan design that gives the GPU a distinctive look and enhanced heatsink airflow. Overall, the graphics card had a sleek appearance and a professional feel. This GPU design isn’t just another “gamer” heatsink design, it is something fresh and exciting, even if it is Founders Edition inspired.

From the rear, this graphics card is a thing of beauty. Just look at the curves of that backplate, and the clean MSI and GeForce RTX lettering. This GPU design is simple and elegant. A refreshing change from the busy, overly angular design of most graphics cards.

MSI’s EXPERT series of graphics cards is something that I want to see more of. Our Lord and Master (Owner and Editor), Tom Logan wants to take one home and try his hands at modding it. Perhaps he can paint it, or maybe get someone to anodise it! MSI, more of this please. We love this graphics card. It’s easily our favourite GPU of CES 2024.
