Intel next-gen ARC B580 GPU listed and priced at US retailer
Intel ARC B580 priced at $259 at US retailer
Over on Twitter/X, @momomo_us has spotted a GPU listing for an “Intel ARC B580 Limited Edition” GPU with a $250 price tag. Similarly, Videocardz has spotted an ARC B580 listing with $259 pricing. These listings imply that retailers are preparing for Intel’s ARC Battlemage GPU launch, which is expected to happen next month.
Prior ARC B580 GPU leaks have revealed that Intel’s upcoming GPU will have a 12GB frame buffer. This frame buffer is 50% larger than competing AMD and Nvidia GPUs in the sub-$300 price bracket. This alone gives Intel an advantage, as many modern games struggle to run well on 8GB GPUs. This can be seen in our recent PC Performance Review of STALKER 2.
Currently, the overall performance levels of Intel’s ARC B580 are unknown. However, we can expect Intel to deliver more performance than today’s $250 GPUs. After all, Intel needs to offer gamers more than the competition to generate meaningful sales volumes.

Intel’s ARC B580 graphics card will be based on the Xe2 “Battlemage” GPU architecture. We discussed Intel’s Xe2 GPU architecture in depth earlier this year and are impressed with its architectural changes overall. Simply put, Intel has addressed many of the shortcomings of its original Xe GPU architecture, added larger ray tracing units, delivered more AI performance, and increased the overall efficiency and parallelism of its architecture. That said, it remains to be seen whether or not this is enough to best the next-gen offerings of AMD and Nvidia. After all, both of them are due to reveal new GPUs in January.
