JAPANNEXT puts productivity first with its 27.6-inch 2560×2880 vertical monitor
Forget ultrawide, what about ultratall? JAPANNEXT’s 2560×2880 monitor is impressive
As great as ultrawide monitors are, many of us would prefer vertical screen space. Vertical space can often be better for large spreadsheets, programming, or document work than horizontal space. That’s why JAPANNEXT has created its 27.6-inch 2560×2880 JN-IPS276SDQHD-HSPC6-CMS monitor.
This 16:18 screen is effectively two 1440p screens stacked on top of each other. It features a VESA monitor arm, a built-in webcam, and 65″ USB Type-C connectivity and charging. The screen features a 60Hz IPS panel designed for comfortable work use. It also features 178-degree viewing angles and 100% sRGB and 97% DCI-P3 colour support, making it great for displaying videos and photos.
Built into this monitor is KWM functionality and support for PBP modes that allow images from two separate inputs to be displayed side-by-side or in a stacked orientation.
Honestly, this monitor is amazing for its intended use case. If you need more vertical space, this is the kind of screen you want. Forget 16:10, 16:18 is here!
Note that this new monitor is only available in Japan, and is available for around 109,800 yen. This translates to around £580 in the UK.
