MSI MEG 321URX QD-OLED is the World’s First “True AI” Gaming Monitor

Is this cheating? MSI uses the power of “True AI” to enhance their MSI MEG 321URX QD-OLED gaming monitor

At Computex 2024, MSI have showcased their new MEG 321URX gaming monitor. This QD (Quantum Dot) OLED monitor boasts a screen size of 32 inches, a crisp 4K resolution, and an incredible 240Hz refresh rate. Better still, this screen is the world’s first “True AI” gaming monitor. Yes, with the power of AI, this monitor can give users some neat benefits.

True AI with the MEG 321URX

With MSI’s “AI Sky Sight” tech, the MEG 321URX can automatically detect the position of enemies and display it on screen. This is incredibly useful for games like League of Legends, as it can give players a warning before enemies will appear on screen. While this does sound like a cheating tool, it is only detecting already available on-screen information (like mini map information). As such, it shouldn’t give players a huge advantage over experienced players.

The beauty of this AI feature is that it can be trained to support more games. Once a new game is supported, all users of this screen need to do is update their monitor’s firmware. Simple!

Connectivity-wise, this screen features two HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) input. Additionally, this screen features a USB Type-C input with DisplayPort Alt Mode, data, and 98W power delivery support. The screen also features two USB data powers and a headphone output.

MSI has done a lot to improve their 2024 OLED lineup. For starters, they have moved to a next-generation OLED screen, delivering sharper text and new anti burn-in technologies.

With their new OLED screens, MSI are launching their new “Gaming Intellegence” app and new AI technologies. With the Gaming Intelligence app, gamers will be able to control their monitor’s settings using their PCs, utilise the screen’s KVM, or activate image enhancement technologies. That’s a lot easier than using an on-screen menu for these features.

With its 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms grey-to-grey response times, the MSI MEG 321URX QD-OLED is already a beastly gaming display. Add on MSI’s unique AI features, and you have an excellent package for all gamers.

MSI has confirmed that this monitor will be available for $1,699.99 in the US. Sadly, we do not have a confirmed release date for this AI enhanced monitor at this time.
