Intel achieves huge DX11 and DX12 performance gains with their latest ARC Game On drivers

Intel has launched their 31.0.101.5234 WHQL driver for Intel ARC and Iris Xe GPUs, promising gamers huge performance gains across a huge number of titles. This includes “Game On Support” for Enshoruded, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tekken 8, and Palworld.

In their release notes, Intel has revealed gains of up to 268% with their latest drivers on ARC discrete GPUs. Across 24 listed games, Intel’s average performance gains are 37%, with framerate gains ranging from 4% in XCOM 2 (DX11) to 268% in Just Cause 4 (DX11).

These performance gains highlight Intel’s commitment to improving their ARC discrete GPUs, and their long-term commitment to the GPU market.

2023 has seen Intel deliver huge performance gains across a large number of games with their latest “Game On” drivers. Earlier this year, the company showcased 43% performance gains in DirectX 9 titles. More recently, Intel showcases 5-119% performance gains across a range of mostly DirectX 11 games. 2023 has been a great year for Intel driver releases.
