Nvidia GeForce Hotfix driver addresses RTX 5080 crashes in Valorant
Nvidia squashes bugs with their 572.24 GeForce Hotfix Driver
Nvidia has released a new Hotfix driver for their GeForce graphics cards, addressing issues present within the company’s recently released GeForce 572.16 drivers.
With this driver release, Nvidia has addressed a bug that caused Nvidia’s newly released RTX 5080 graphics cards to crash in Valorant. This makes this hotfix driver the first RTX 5080-compatible driver that is stable in Valorant. Additionally, this driver addresses PC crashing issues for players of Final Fantasy XVI when exiting the game.

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 572.24 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 572.16

PC gamers who do not play Valorant or Final Fantasy XVI will not benefit from this new driver release. Even then, these issues only impact a minority of users with specific GPUs and OS’.
Nvidia’s 572.24 GeForce Hotfix driver is available to download here. The fixes included in this hotfix will be available as part of Nvidia’s next mainstream GeForce driver release.
