Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 3DMARK Performance Leaks
Nvidia’s RTX 5090 delivers impressive results in 3DMARK’s benchmark suite
Nvidia’s RTX 5090 is launching on January 31st, and gamers are keen to know how fast the newest GeForce flagship is. Videocardz has uncovered Nvidia’s RTX 5090 benchmark results across the entire 3DMARK benchmark suite. This reveals the performance of Nvidia’s new RTX flagship in rasterised, fully ray-traced, and hybrid rendering scenarios.
In the table below, the performance of Nvidia’s RTX 5090 can be as much as 53% higher than Nvidia’s RTX 4090. This result was for 3DMARK’s Steel Nomad 4K test. Nvidia’s new GPU is around 30-36% faster than its predecessor in most tests. However, the most significant performance gains can be found in 3DMARK’s ray tracing tests.

While these 3DMARK results are impressive, these results are not guaranteed to be consistent with real-world performance gains in games. 3DMARK’s Fire Strike test is almost a decade old, and Time Spy isn’t much younger. As such, they are not representative of modern gaming workloads. Regardless, they show that Nvidia’s hardware has taken a leap forward with Blackwell. We can expect to see official reviews for Nvidia’s RTX 5090 GPUs in the near future.
