Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti to feature 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM – Leak suggests

Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti reportedly has 16GB of VRAM

According to a report from WCCFtech, Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti GPU will feature 16GB of GDDR7 memory, matching the VRAM capacity of their rumoured RTX 5080 graphics card.

Unlike the 5080, which reportedly uses 32 Gbps GDDR7 memory, Nvidia’s 5070 Ti is said to use slower 28 Gbps GDDR7 modules. This gives the GPU reduced memory bandwidth. However, this still gives the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 33% more memory bandwidth than the 4070 Ti SUPER that it replaces.

The 5070 Ti is said to feature 8960 CUDA cores, 16.6% more than Nvidia’s 4070 Ti and 6% more than Nvidia’s 4070 Ti SUPER. The GPU also has a TDP of 350W, 65W higher than Nvidia’s 4070 Ti.

Nvidia is due to reveal its RTX 50 series of graphics cards at CES 2025. Nvidia will host their CES keynote on January 6th, with CEO Jensen Huang leading the event. There, we expect Nvidia to reveal their high-end RTX 50 series GPU lineup.

Currently, it is unknown what gaming benefits Nvidia has delivered with their RTX 50 series (Blackwell) graphics architecture. We expect to see boosted AI performance from Nvidia. Additionally, we expect Nvidia to further advances its ray tracing technology. However, it is currently unknown if Nvidia plans to reveal a new version of DLSS with their RTX 50 series. Will DLSS 4 be revealed in January? If so, what benefits will Nvidia bring to the table this time?
