Overclockers UK has “single digits” stock of RTX 5090 GPUs ahead of launch

Overclockers UK says that RTX 5090 stock is “Mega Tight” in the UK – Calls for Patience

On the Overclockers UK Forums,  Andrew “Gibbo” Gibson, the company’s Purchasing Manager, has called for “patience” ahead of Nvidia’s RTX 50-series GPU launch. Currently, the company has only RTX 5090 stock in the “single digits”, and that number will “maybe double for launch.”

Overclockers UK is one of the UK’s largest PC components retailers, and they expect demand for Nvidia’s RTX 50 series to be high. RTX 5080 GPU stock is better, with the retailer having a “few hundred” GPUs. However, even these GPUs are expected to disappear quickly after launch.

If you want an RTX 50 series GPU, you must be patient. Based on today’s information, retail stock may take a while to build up. Overclockers UK has confirmed that they will be limiting their GPU pre-order numbers to give buyers “realistic expectations” and not leaving them “waiting months” for their GPU.

Gamers who are upgrading existing systems have been told to keep their current GPU until they have their new GPU in hand. This will allow them to continue gaming until their new GPU arrives. Buyers of all-new systems may want to purchase lower-end graphics cards. That way they can have their systems up and running before their RTX 5080/90 arrives.
