Philips launches their 280Hz Evnia 27M2C5200W Gaming Monitor

Philips released their new 27-inch Evnia 27M2C5200W curved 280Hz gaming monitor

Philips’ new  Evnia 27M2C5200W gaming monitor will soon be available at retailers, offering users a 280Hz gaming for €229. This screen is a fast-VA 280Hz curved gaming screen that is 27 inches in size and promises users lightning-fast 0.3 ms MPRT response times.

This full HD gaming monitor promises to give gamers a low lag gaming experience, with Philips boasting support for HDR10. That said, this monitor does not appear to be DisplayHDR rated, making us question the extent of this screen’s HDR support. Regardless, this screen promises high framerate support and features support for Adaptive Sync.

This monitor features a 10-bit screen,  two HDMI 2.0 inputs, and DisplayPort 1.4 support. The screen uses a W-LED backlight and has a 1500R screen curvature. Over DisplayPort, this screen supports up to 280Hz refresh rates, though HDMI inputs are limited to 180Hz. This monitor features a Smart Ergo Base that allows users to adjust the screen’s height and tilt with ease. Additionally, this screen’s flicker-free and low blue light settings can make this screen comfortable to uses for long periods of time.

Availability for this new Evina screen starts this month. More information about the Evnia 27M2C5200W is available on Philips’ website.
