PowerColor teases next-generation RDNA 4 Red Devil series GPU

Is this PowerColor’s Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil?

PowerColor has started to tease something new, and we have a good idea of what it is. Below, we have what appears to be an image of part of a next-generation PowerColor (RDNA 4) Red Devil GPU.

If recent Radeon rumours prove accurate, AMD’s next-generation flagship is their Radeon RX 9070 XT. If that is the case, PowerColor’s teaser is likely for their Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil graphics card. We can see PowerColor’s Red Devil logo and a design that looks like the exposed rear of a GPU heatsink.

AMD are due to reveal its RDNA 4 graphics architecture at CES 2025. After AMD’s keynote, Radeon partners like PowerColor will be free to showcase their next-generation AMD GPU offerings. This includes PowerColor’s Red Devil series.

If PowerColor follows convention, their Red Devil series RDNA 4 GPUs will be their fastest. Currently, it is unknown how AMD’s RDNA 4 GPUs will perform or how much they will cost. However, based on Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro GPU (which is partially based on RDNA 4), we know that AMD will greatly improve its ray tracing performance with its RDNA 4-based GPUs.
