PowerColor launches their RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 XT Liquid Devil Graphics Cards
With RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT models, the PowerColor Liquid Devil is designed to deliver peak performance from AMD’s Radeon RDNA 2 architecture, offering users an overbuilt PCB that can handle over 400 watts of power with its 14+2 phase design and high polymer capacitors.Â
To cool these premium Radeon graphics cards, PowerColor has teamed up with EK to create a custom water block that’s purpose-built for their Liquid Devil PCB design, ensuring that these graphics cards will remain cool even while overclocked. This means that you will need a custom liquid cooling setup to utilise this graphics card, though that is the case for all GPUs with a custom water block. Â
Both of these GPU models will ship with Boost Clock speeds over 100MHz higher than AMD’s reference designs. PowerColor’s shipping these cards with a BIOS switch will allow users to utilise lower energy (high efficiency) and peak performance (overclocking) modes. PowerColor has designed these graphics cards for record-breaking overclocks, so users can expect some overclocking headroom if their liquid cooling setup is up for the task.Â
PowerColor plans to ship these graphics cards with a “Custom Loop Coolant Colour pack”, allowing their users to colour their clear or while EK-CryoFuel coolants to whatever colour they desire. This add-on will bring a personal touch to any liquid-cooled system, allowing users to create custom, one-off colour schemes.Â
