Powercolor’s RX Vega 56 is now available for £350 with three free games
PC gamers that cannot afford a £460 graphics card will need to make do with last-generation offerings, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any good offers on the table.Â
Seemingly in response to the RTX 2070’s release, Powercolor’s has RX Vega 56 Red Dragon has been reduced to £349.99 at Overclockers UK. Better still is the fact that this graphics card includes a free Radeon Gaming bundle as part of AMD’s “Raise the Game” promotion, which gives PC gamers free copies of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Star Control: Origins and Strange Brigade, all of which are recent releases.Â
At £349.99, this RX Vega 56 is cheaper than most GTX 1070 and GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards at major UK retailers, making it a great value purchase even if you are not considering the games included in the Radeon “Raise the Game” bundle. The only downside with this offer is that you will no be purchasing a GPU with a forward-looking graphics architecture like Turing, but that being said, no current Generation graphics card does that at this price point.Â

Followers of OC3D’s game Performance Reviews will know that more often than not in recent releases, AMD’s RX Vega 56 can achieve performance levels which are closer to Nvidia’s GTX 1080 than the GTX 1070 that the RX Vega 56 is priced to compete against. With the lack of new graphics cards in the sub-£400 GPU market, AMD’s RX Vega 56 remains a solid purchase for PC gamers, especially if they know how to overclock/undervolt.Â
