This standard requires per pixel local dimming, enabling incredible contrast ratios and eliminates blooming and halos on screen. With OLED screens, deep blacks can be displayed beside bright highlights, enabling an incredible HDR gaming or viewing experience.
With a price tag of £1,999.99, Samsung’s new Odyssey OLED G9 gamin monitor is far beyond the price ranges of most consumers, though it is worth noting that a cheaper version of this screen is in the works that drops the screen’s Smart TV like streaming features to deliver the same OLED screen at a lower price.
