Sapphire teases their Radeon RX 9070 PULSE GPU

Sapphire teases their next-generation RDNA 4 Pulse series graphics card

Sapphire has started to tease their Radeon RX 9070/9070 XT Pulse graphics card. Strangely, Sapphire did not showcase this new graphics card at CES, though it is now clear that new Pulse series GPUs are on the horizon.

AMD previewed their RDNA 4 graphics architecture at CES 2025 and revealed their Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards. Sadly, AMD has not revealed the specifications or pricing of these new GPUs. However, we expect AMD to reveal more about their RDNA 4 lineup later this month.

So far, this is what we know about RDNA 4. AMD has moved to TSMC’s 4nm lithography node and promised improvements in all aspects of GPU performance. For starters, AMD has promised “Supercharged AI compute” thanks to its new second-generation AI accelerators. Next, we have “improved ray tracing compute per CU” with its third-generation RT accelerators. Furthermore, we have “optimised compute units” that should increase raw computational power.

The Pulse isn’t the first RDNA 4/RX 9070 series GPU from Sapphire

During AMD’s RDNA 4 reveal, Sapphire’s Nitro+ series GPU design was revealed. We also know that Sapphire has a PURE series GPU in the works. This means that Sapphire plans to release at least three distinct GPU models within their RDNA 4 GPU lineup.

As mentioned, AMD plans to reveal more about its RDNA 4 graphics architecture later this month. We will publish more information about RDNA 4 when we learn more.
