Sharper, faster, brighter – ASUS unveils its RGB Stripe ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM
ASUS delivers speed and sharpness with its 4K 240Hz/1080p 480Hz PG27UCWM OLED
At CES 2026, ASUS launched what could be the sharpest OLED monitor on the market. With the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM, ASUS has launched one of the world’s first RGB Stripe OLED monitors, featuring 4K resolution and a 27-inch display size.
With its new RGB Tandem OLED panel, ASUS claims that this monitor has 27% more colour volume than its predecessor and increased peak brightness levels. Thanks to this screen’s dual mode tech, it also supports 4K at up to 240Hz and 1080p at up to 480Hz. Depending on the use case, gamers can choose between speed and detail.

Below, we can see the impact of the PG27UCWM’s RGB Stripe pixels in action. Note how colour fringing has been removed from the edge of the text below. This new sub-pixel arrangement enables sharper text and more accurate colour reproduction. This is great news for anyone who does text-heavy work or finds colour fringing very noticeable.
With its 0.03ms GTG response times, this OLED screen boasts exceptional motion clarity. It’s true 10-bit colour support, and 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage, and a Delta E <2 rating also ensure accurate colours for editing applications. Furthermore, Dolby Vision support also ensures strong HDR support.
Input-wise, this monitor supports full 80 Gbps DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1. This makes this screen suitable for both PC and console gaming. This screen also boasts ASUS’ latest OLED Care technologies to mitigate burn-in risks. This includes ASUS’ NEO proximity sensor, which protects your monitor from burn-in by transitioning your screen to a black image when it doesn’t detect a user.
