ASUS has delivered a monitor that delivers “all the essentials for next-gen gameplay”, delivering 4K at 120Hz through HDMI 2.1 on the latest consoles while delivering 4K 144Hz support to PC gamers through DisplayPort 1.4.

With the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A, ASUS plans to deliver everything gamers need to enjoy next-gen titles at their fullest speeds. With HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, gamers can enjoy high refresh rate 4K gaming on all modern consoles and PCs; beyond that, variable refresh rate (VRR) support is delivered with G-Sync compatibility, FreeSync Premium Pro support, and HDMI 2.1 VRR support.

Another neat addition to the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A is support for ASUS’ ELMB Sync (Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync) feature, a technology that allows for increased motion clarity in games. Traditional ELMB technologies are incompatible with variable refresh rate technologies, a factor that makes ASUS’ ELMB-Sync technology revolutionary by providing gamers with the best of both worlds. No longer will gamers need to choose between VRR and low-motion blur display enhancements; with ELMB, gamers can have both.

With a 28-inch screen and a 4K resolution, ASUS’ TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A, this monitor is ideal for areas where larger screens are inappropriate and deliver incredibly high levels of pixel density. With DisplayHDR 400 support, an anti-glare IPS panel, and a 90% PCI-P3 colour rating, this monitor also promised high levels of image quality without bank-breaking prices.

The 28-inch TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A 4K UHD gaming monitor featuring a Fast IPS panel and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility for blistering-fast 144 Hz gaming. Its clever combination of Display Stream Compression (DSC), ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies enables buttery-smooth gaming on PCs. Console gamers can get their fix, too, as TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A supports up to 4K 120 Hz visuals via HDMI 2.1 without chroma subsampling. In addition, it meets DisplayHDR 400 compliance standards and has a 90% DCI-P3 gamut to offer exceptional colors and contrast.

Sadly, ASUS has not revealed to us the pricing or retail release date for their TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A display, though we expect to hear more about this gaming monitor soon.
