It has finally happened, the Oculus Rift is Available for Pre-Order, announcing the price of VR headset and letting us know what will be bundles with the retail version of the device. Â
The Oculus Rift will cost $599.99,â¬699.99 or £499.99, which we think is quite a reasonable price for the Rift considering the PC requirements, but certainly a lot more than we were expecting. This will not include shipping, but the shipping costs will vary depending on your region.Â

   As a reminder, every Rift comes bundled with Luckyâs Tale by Playful, and weâre also including CCPâs EVE: Valkyrie for free with every pre-order!

If you don’t remember, or haven’t seen them yet, here are the Oculus Rift’s PC requirements, which will be the Minimum amount of computing power required for VR. Expect to need an even higher end PC in order to play any Oculus Rift games a higher in-game settings or to play future VR games.Â
The Oculus Rift has a 1200×1080 display for each eye, which runs at 90Hz, making this a lot more demanding that your standard 1080p 60FPS PC gaming experience.Â
